Select text with click and drag a box around the text.

Click on the text with the – you can change the size of the text by holding down the shift key and dragging the corner points.

Change the font by going to the character palette.

Using the selection tool move the smaller shape on top of the large shape.Using the fill/ stroke make the smaller shape No stroke/No fill.Draw a smaller shape using the same tool.Draw a large solid shape (no outline) using the shape tool.Hold shift and click on the top left icon to unite the shapes.Use the Selection tool move one shape so it over laps the other.Draw any 2 shapes using the Shape tool.Task 2- Joining solid shapes ( making a composite shape) To change the size of the shape, use the selection tool, click on the shape and drag the corner, hold shift key.

Experiment by drawing at least one of each of the following shapes, varying the colour and size.Using the fill/stroke make your rectangle a solid fill with no stroke.Select the Shape tool and draw a rectangle.
